In this role we are looking for candidates who are personable and see IT as more than a technical function. Job responsibilities range from user support and training at client sites to workstation setup, configuration, troubleshooting, client and Insource documentation using wiki text, configuring help desk tools, and other business level technology tasks. Required experience includes: MS Windows 9x/NT/2000/XP; MS Office applications 98/2000/XP; TCP/IP protocol; knowledge of Wifi and related security; understanding of the Internet; understanding of Ports and Protocols; http, ftp, ssh, telnet; concepts of Networking and Client/Server environment. Appreciated experience includes: Windows Server NT, 2000, 2003; knowledge of LDAP and Active Directory; email servers such as imail, Squirrel mail, Postfix; Groupwise servers such as Microsoft Exchange Server 2000; Microsoft Internet Information Server; Cisco Routing; configuring Firewalls; Apple OS X; Unix/Linux; Microsoft Terminal Service; Citrix. In addition to these qualifications, we are looking for staff that are: professional, patient, sociable, creative and innovative, and resourceful. Positions are part/full time. We are also seeking contractors to work with in performing this work on an as-needed basis.
