Shavon is a passionate, dependable leader on the HR team, who uses her 20+ years of experience in Human Resources & Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) work to help Insources clients achieve further success.
Known for her action-oriented determination to build respectful relationships, Shavon supports multiple clients with their HR management needs. This includes policy development, staffing, HR compliance, performance management, employee relations, benefits program design and administration, and compensation. She is a frequent trainer and facilitator primarily focused on issues related to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
As a DEIB and racial equity facilitator and thought leader Shavon has experience partnering with government agencies, organizations, academic institutions, businesses, faith-based initiatives, and communities seeking to advance their mission by promoting DEIB values for the benefit and development of their workforce and communities served. Shavon prioritizes relationship-building and service to design effective strategies for integrating DEIB principles into organizational practices while ensuring that each process is tailored to every client’s unique brand, mission and goals.
In her free time, you’ll find Shavon planning the next family getaway or enjoying quality time with family and friends.
Shavon has a Bachelor of Biological Science from the University of Pittsburgh. She is certified through the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM-SCP) and the Senior Professionals in Human Resources. (SPHR)
