IT Support Specialist

Come join our growing IT consulting team! We are doing exciting and challenging work for our clients in the greater Boston Area and need to hire a smart, capable, and motivated IT Support Specialist to help with the day-to-day technical support of assigned clients. Controller

We are seeking a bright, talented and capable Controller to join our Financial Consulting Services team. Controllers work in a fast-paced environment on concurrent client engagements to provide business and financial analysis to support and inform strategic decision making for client accounts. They develop financial controls and accounting policies and procedure, organize and manage the finance department, establish schedules for compiling, processing, and reporting financial data, and supervise related finance staff.

Some specific responsibilities include maintaining GL entries, preparing cash flow forecasts, reconciling balance sheets, assisting with budget and annual audit preparations, and preparation and analysis of monthly and quarterly financial results.

What You’ll Do:

  • Working as part of a service delivery team, provide HR services to our clients and serve as a resource to client management on all employment matters. Approach should be flexible and practical when addressing issues, with an understanding that one of our primary roles is to reduce client risk and exposure on matters related to employment practices. Assist with routine and complex employee relations/performance issues and non-standard matters in addition to daily HR management duties. Act as the in-house HR resource for all client needs, advise and update staff as needed on personnel policy or procedures.
  • Serve as a resource on staff operational and compliance issues beyond the basic HR functions of benefits, performance management and employee life cycle processes. Develop and improve client HR systems and infrastructure within the HR service area guidelines. Enhance and update policies and procedures in accordance with labor laws and best practices while also proactively identifying instances of non-compliance with labor laws. Work with management to resolve issues. Serve as a strategic partner to management and assist with employee engagement, retention and issue resolution.
  • Oversee the maintenance of personnel files and documentation in accordance with labor laws, best practices and company standards. Delegate and manage process as appropriate. Manage and maintain benefit plans, design and coordinate new employee onboarding and exit meetings or delegate as appropriate (consultants typically will conduct these meetings)
  • Participate in HR Assessments, benefit program design and administration and proactively identify issues with suggestions for resolution. Utilize extensive experience and knowledge in benefit plans, mitigating employment issues, lay-offs/terminations, reductions in force and compliance to offer advice to clients on all HR related tasks.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • A minimum of 5-10 years of HR Generalist experience with increasing levels of autonomy and proactive engagement with the work
  • Requires excellent administrative and client relationship skills
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in engaging with clients in a highly professional and service oriented manner. Serve as an effective ambassador of Insource HR at client sites
  • Ability to work independently and comfort in managing and assigning work to administrators
  • Proficient MS Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills. Able to communicate in a clear and succinct manner with diplomacy
  • Demonstrated professional judgment skills and positive interactive style
  • Experience explaining and presenting HR information and practices to current and prospective clients clearly and with gravitas
  • Proven experience handling competing priorities and deadlines
  • Experience interacting, advising and communicating effectively in a consulting capacity
  • Conversant in Federal and Massachusetts employment regulations. Proactive in problem solving and accessing additional resources as necessary.

What You’ll Do:

  • Serve as a lead to the support delivery team. Be a resource to help develop support staff, provide advanced troubleshooting skills,
  • Provide senior-level support to key clients.
  • Provide support for Mac and Windows integrated with cloud technologies from Microsoft Azure, Dropbox, Office 365, Google, and many more.

  • A strong understanding of Networking Protocols and Procedures, all relevant Windows Workstation Operating Systems, Office products, -MAC OS X Operating Systems, wireless configurations and switch configurations.

  • Ability to multi-task across clients, industries, and technologies, while maintaining an appropriate level of professionalism and composure
  • Proactive and resourceful resolution to issues

Part-Time CFO Consultant

Insource Services works with small to mid-sized companies providing outsourced HR, Finance, and IT services, as well as fractional CFO, CTO and CPO services. We are currently seeking CFO level consultants to deliver hands on financial expertise to our clients in a variety of sectors including biosciences, telecommunications, and other entrepreneurial environments.

Consulting CFOs act as an extension of our clients’ senior leadership teams and provide financial and strategic leadership. The CFO should have experience laying the groundwork for successful initial public offerings (IPO), and ensuring companies have the right financial infrastructure and controls in place to make this major transition successfully.

Consulting CFOs are seasoned and mature leaders with ten plus years of progressive management experience in finance and financial management roles, including working with pre IPO organizations. They oversee cash flow planning, review monthly financial positions for clients, prepare reports and make strategic recommendations that ensure financial stability and readiness for an IPO. Consulting CFO’s also oversee the design and implementation of accounting controls and procedures and provide high level financial analysis for clients.

Staff Accountant

In this position you will be working individually and as a member our financial consulting team on concurrent client engagements at our Wellesley office and at client sites in the Greater Boston area. You’ll serve as the primary liaison between Insource and clients helping to organize, prepare, and analyze client financial data.  Your primary responsibilities will include all AR/AP, payroll processing, bank reconciliations, and maintaining the client GL.
