What you’ll do:

  • You will work as part of a service delivery team to provide accounting services directly to our clients
  • You will process accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash disbursements, and cash receipts using QuickBooks or other accounting software packages
  • You will work on general ledger account maintenance
  • You will help with the transition and set up of new client files
  • You will assist with year-end audit preparation
  • You will perform accurate record keeping and retention of paid bills.

What we’re looking for:

IT Support Specialist- Boston, MA

What You’ll Do:

  • Working as part of a service delivery team, provide first-level technical support to assigned clients, both remote and on-site. Assist clients with initial equipment setup, virus removal, software updates and hardware incidents all while effectively communicating issues and updates to IT Managers
  • On a monthly basis, manage office/desktop and email support, perform lab machine rollouts. Participate in monthly meeting with entire technical team to discuss new technologies, case studies, roadblocks, and outstanding service delivery
  • On an annual basis, operate system support for Windows XP/Vista/7 and Mac OS X, provide mobile device support for iPhone, iPad, and Android. Handle the creation and maintenance of all IT accounts, including Active Directory, MS Exchange, Gmail, etc.
  • On an ongoing basis, manage small projects (as needed), deliver and remove computer equipment, assign, update, and report on client tasks/tickets and effectively communicate technical issues and project execution with Client Manager and Network/Server Engineer

What You’ll Do:

  • Working as part of a service delivery team, you will oversee and perform a variety of financial reporting and oversight activities related to the financial wellbeing of clients. Manage monthly, quarterly and annual financial close as well as related reporting in accordance with GAAP and client internal control policies
  • Establish schedules and processes for compiling, processing, and reporting financial data and oversee the technical quality of financial and accounting work delivery for team quality control on day-to-day operations as well as monthly, quarterly and annual close
  • On a monthly basis, maintain GL and process journal entries per client schedules and account reconciliations, prepare cash flow forecasts and financial projections and develop client financial controls and accounting policies and procedures
  • On an annual basis, assist with audit preparations including planning, coordination, execution and report preparation as needed
  • On an ongoing basis, participate in Board and client management meetings as needed, maintain continuous contact with clients and communicate with Insource client team throughout the business year. Ability to anticipate clients’ changing needs and implement appropriate recommendations, while managing risks
  • Work as an integrated team member in order to support strategic financial management decision-making for our clients
  • Inform supervisor and client manager of important client developments and outline important client issues as needed including facts and recommendations

What We’re Looking For:

  • Demonstrated analytical and research skills, proven adeptness at detail work as well as the portrayal of clear and concise summary-level work
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks and/or other accounting software, Excel and Word
  • Familiarity with accounting and billing for service contracts, in particular Federal and State awards and related compliance

What You’ll Do:

  • Serve as a lead to the support delivery team. Be a resource to help develop support staff, provide advanced troubleshooting skills,
  • Provide senior-level support to key clients.
  • Provide support for Mac and Windows integrated with cloud technologies from Microsoft Azure, Dropbox, Office 365, Google, and many more.

What You’ll Do:

  • Work as a part of Insource Services’ corporate team to provide support to our business and general office operational functions such as assisting with answering phones, processing mail, greeting office visitors, maintaining office supply inventory, daily visits to bank, post office box, and other errands as necessary
  • Assist with administrative tasks, data entry in Salesforce and other databases,, establish and maintain files/records, meeting and event logistics, help to maintain website and other duties as assigned.
  • This position is part time at 25 hours a week, Monday through Friday 9:00-2:00.

What You’ll Do:

  • Working as part of a service delivery team, provide routine accounting services to our clients. You will process accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, cash disbursements and cash receipts using QuickBooks or other accounting software packages
  • On a monthly basis, reconcile bank items, job cost, department and general ledger accounts, prepare and enter journal entries, maintain electronic/paper files and prepare draft financial and management reports
  • On an annual basis, assist with gathering data for budget processes, audit preparation, preparing 1099s and other tax filings, as well as other client-specific regulatory filings
  • On an ongoing basis, work with client and Insource staff to regularly upgrade and improve operating procedures and regularly document the changes
  • Attend and actively participate in departmental meetings and also track the status of tasks using project management software

What you’ll do:

  • Administer client benefit plans, including data entry, communication and coordination with outside vendors/parties and plan participants; enrollments and terminations
  • Assist with open enrollment processes – updating forms, fielding client employee questions, general communications
  • Create and serve as a gatekeeper with primary responsibility for maintaining and updating client employee files and recordkeeping
  • Assist in answering general HR and benefit questions for clients
  • Schedule employment interviews and follow up with candidates
  • Draft job descriptions
  • Update and format staff handbooks under the direction of an HR Consultant

What we’re looking for:

  • Minimum of 1 year of HR and/or benefits experience or other relevant business experience; Bachelor degree preferred but not necessary
  • Data or recordkeeping management experience
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize work while handling multiple tasks
  • Ability to clearly document and communicate policies and procedures
  • Proven success in solving problems collaboratively and resourcefully
  • Proficient with MS Outlook, Word, Excel
