Bernie Matta
Senior IT Engineer
As a Senior IT Engineer, Bernie draws on his extensive experience of complex systems design and management to provide innovative solutions to clients’ problems. With more than 15 years in the field, he has a great deal of experience managing enterprise application systems, from premise to the cloud, with a focus on access, security, stability, redundancy, and speed.
Bernie is adept in a diverse range of areas, from designing IT infrastructure, to system integration, information systems management, IT deployment, and directing technical staff – all of which allow him to exercise his refined problem-solving skills on a regular basis.
When he’s not at Insource, you’ll find Bernie spending time with his family.
Bernie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Northeastern University, and is a Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator.
“I have been breaking, fixing, and working with technology since I was five years old, working on my family’s Apple 2 and teaching my older siblings how to use it. I still love problem-solving – from the tiniest issue to the largest solution. The thing I’m best at is looking at a client’s IT infrastructure and then improving it, and I’m passionate about finding solutions that help people every day.”
