Joseph Tay
Staff Accountant
As a Staff Accountant, Joseph helps Insource’s clients succeed by providing accounting best practice support. On a day-to-day basis, Joseph works as part of the finance team on tasks including processing accounts payable and receivable, payroll, cash disbursements, and cash receipts. He also uses his accounting experience to help with banking and ledger tasks such as maintaining files, preparing audit documents, and running reports.
Prior to joining Insource, Joseph has held several financial and accounting positions and managed effective and efficient collaboration within various company-wide department to achieve unified strategic company goals and objectives.
When not at Insource, Joseph can be found at church, at home, or on a trip with his family.
Joseph received his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with Philosophy from the University of Ghana, a Master of Arts in Finance and Investment from the London School of Business and Finance and a Masters of Business Administration in Finance and Accounting from the IU International University of Applied Sciences in Berlin, Germany.
I used to think that accounting was about being an introvert and putting numbers together, but I have come to realize the importance of understanding the effects of numbers on the daily lives of organizational stakeholders.
